Causes of Sweating and Body Odour

Our skin have two main type of sweat glands which is the eccrine glands and the apocrine glands. Eccrine glands cover most of the body area and open direct onto the skin surface. Whereas Apocrine glands cover in area abundant in hair follicles like the armpits and groins.

the causes of sweating and body odour is that when body temperature rises, the eccrine glands will secrete fluid onto the surface of the skin. It will cools the body down as it evaporates. this fluid is composed mainly of water and salt. The apocrine glands will produce a milky fluid that most commonly is secreted when a human is under emotional stress. the fluid is odorless until it combines with bacteria that is normally found on the skin.
